Selection Criteria
CLASS wants to optimize the impact by serving as many non-profits as possible. However, to be eligible for a venture (project), all NPOs must meet a set of criteria:
Organizational Criteria:

Have to be located in the SF Bay Area.

Have Tax exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Service Code.

Have a history of successfully serving & impacting its community.

Have no negative history with CLASS or any other management-consulting firm.
Project Criteria:

Have a clear understanding of how the project fits into the strategies and goals of the organization to impact community.

Have support from both the Board and the Management .

Have staff available to work with the CLASS team during the project outside normal working hours which might include, but is not limited to weekends.

Have financial strength to afford the resources required for the completion of the project & out-of-pocket expenses incurred by the CLASS team.

Have resources to use and maintain the deliverables after the project is completed.
Costs
We donot charge our clients for consulting services however we have a minimal engagement fee. Nonprofit organizations are responsible for any administrative or ‘out-of-pocket’ expenses incurred while working on the project (i.e. stock purchases, printing fees, mileage reimbursement, etc.)
Time
Timeframe for execution of a venture or project ranges from 2-5 months depending upon the scope of the project.
